Abstract

A total of 69 species of Pteridophytes including 63 Ferns and six Lycophytes were recorded from the Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Kerala. It harbours some of the rare and endemic species, including the members of Hymenophyllaceae, the most sensitive fern family.
